Deb joined Christmas in Action in December of 2022 as its new Executive Director. With more than 40 years of experience working as a university staff member and administrator, she enjoys organizing projects, building teams, and working with people from a variety of backgrounds. She has served on the boards of non-profit organizations for her entire adult life and most recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Aiken for 18 years. Through this experience she became aware of the poor living conditions that some of our most vulnerable neighbors endure and is excited about working with our board, volunteers, partners, and donors to improve the living conditions of the elderly, disabled, and economically disadvantaged in Spartanburg County.

Repair Projects Supervisor

Jim has served with Christmas in Action since its inception in Spartanburg County, having volunteered on the very first Rebuild Day that was held. He has since served on the board of directors and in his current position on staff for the past 5 years. Jim has 25 years of experience as a general contractor and home builder and is a past president of the Home Builders Association of Greater Spartanburg. Jim's expertise and leadership in project planning ensures the high quality of our repair work and improvement of homeowner properties.
